Anita Auer is a qualified teacher and SENDCO. She has worked as a teacher, senior leader and coach across East Sussex. She specialises in Primary English and has completed two research projects into the use of art to 'draw' out reluctant writers. She has led 'Personal Development' in school and is writing a book to demonstrate how doing this well can improve a child's experience and outcomes beyond purely focusing on academic progress and achievement. She champions 'adaptive teaching' in schools as a way of ensuring children's needs are met within an inclusive classroom.

Happy Children Learn!
I am a qualified primary school teacher, with 13 years experience. I have taught from nursery to year 6 (age 11) with a ‘Masters: Research in Emergent Literacy’.
I ran a nursery and 2 reception classes at the primary school where I worked with both Anita and Clare and am experienced in teaching phonics.
Prior to teaching, I worked for the East Sussex disability team and have also taught English abroad (Finland).
I have also recently written and published a key stage 2/3 book on WW2.
